Scottish police arrested Scottish MP Margaret Ferrier yesterday with "alleged culpable and reckless conduct" for breaking COVID-19 lockdown rules.

This comes after she travelled to Westminister from Glasgow back in September 2020, using public transport while experiencing symptoms of the virus and awaiting test results.

The MP for Rutherglen and Hamilton West then received her positive results when she was still in London, but then returned to Glasgow by train the following day.

Although Ms Ferrier apologised for her actions last year, she was urged to step down from her position as an MP and was suspended from the SNP.
