BIO

It may sound cheesy, but stories are everywhere. Not just in places and countries, but also in every experience of every living thing. Not only does that mean that there are billions of stories not yet told or discovered but also that new stories are being created every second. This fascinating realization is why I decided to be and am now, a journalist. I always preferred listening to others rather than talking about myself, even from a young age, so it was natural for me to find my place in profession that allows me to listen to everyone's and anyone's story and transfer that into media for a living.

Therefore it should be no surprise that my biggest drive as a journalist is the power of the people and their experiences. This drive has carried me to meet and cover incredible stories, from space junk to mermaids, from wind engineering to foods that help with stress. Listening and sharing are some of the most valuable skills I have learned over my experiences in the industry so far. Each time I cover a story, I am sober to the fact that my responsibility as a story-teller is not a minor role.

Although I have embraced journalism in all of its forms, broadcast and multi-media journalism is where my heart lies. Through these mediums, I can transform a topic that would otherwise seem complex and distant into something more simplistic and digestible, while simultaneously letting my creativity run rampant. Therefore, I am keen to experiment with any topics and technologies that can assist my story-telling in any way.

Voices and footage are fundamental parts of our everyday lives, instruments that we rely on to communicate and discover information, and being a journalist allows me to be at the forefront of that process.
