Mother, daughter and a man die in linked attacks in Scotland yesterday

However, Scottish Police have said that the incidents were not terror-related, that there is no ongoing threat the Scottish public and that they were not looking for anyone else during their investigation.
The unnamed male and Emma Robertson Coupland (the mother) and Nicole Anderson (the daughter) were killed around Kilmarnock, in East Ayrshire between 7.45 pm and 8.30 pm on Thursday.
Emma, an NHS worker aged 39, died in Crosshouse Hospital's car park after she found being seriously injured.
Nicole, aged 24, died of her injuries after being stabbed at around 8.05 pm on Portland Street, a short drive away from the hospital.
The final victim was a male in his 40s who was killed and pronounced dead at the scene, when his car crashed into a viaduct around 12 miles south of Kilmarnock.
Since the attack, the police have said that a number of areas have been cordoned off due to ongoing inquiries.
Police Scotland are working to confirm the full circumstances of killings that occurred within 45 minutes of each other.
