The Prime Minister says there is "no question" of stricter measures being announced in order to prevent COVID-19 from spreading in the UK.
This comes as pressure mounts on Downing St to announce tougher measures, such as another lockdown, as it appears the current tier system is no longer fit for purpose.
Eight in 10 people in England are currently under tier four restrictions.
Arguments from the Labour Party to close schools have also been discussed amid recent increases of cases.
And hospitals are under extreme pressures to cope with admissions.
For the past six days, the UK has recorded over 50,000 new coronavirus cases daily.
