Oxford-AstraZeneca has been approved for emergency use in India, according to sources for Reuters.
However, health authorities in India have declined to comment on the news.
This comes as the COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for use in the UK, yesterday.
India has been the second-worst hit country globally for coronavirus cases, behind the USA, with over 10 million cases and nearly 150,000 deaths.
India's supposed approval for this Oxford developed vaccine, would mean that they would also join Argentina for its urgent use.
