US President, Donald Trump, has called for the upcoming 2020 presidential election to be postponed because of fears surrounding postal voting fraud.
Mr Trump suggests a delay so that people can "properly" and "safely" vote without inaccurate results from foreign interference.
Although there is not much proof behind President Trump's accusations, he has been opposed to postal voting, which he believes is easily accessible to fraudsters.
Mail-in voting has been supported by some US states in recent months to assist concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic.
If the 2020 election were to go ahead, Mr Trump claims that it would be a "great embarrassment to the USA".
Earlier this year in June, there were issues surrounding postal voting in New York for the Democratic primary poll for the presidential candidate including long delays in counting the ballots and some unknown results. US media sources suggest that this was because of ballots being filled in incorrectly or being sent without the necessary postage marks to show if they were sent out before the end of the vote or not.
