This comes as the UK's R number is expected to be between 0.7 and 1.
After the UK continues under it's third lockdown, data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that coronavirus levels are decreasing.
It is thought that the continuation of the UK's vaccination programme, which has given, as of Wednesday, 10.4 million people have been given the vaccine, has contributed to the figures.
Across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland COVID-19 cases are falling, only Wales has a stable amount of coronavirus cases.
Estimated evidence suggests that Scotland's ratios of COVID-19 cases are one of the best in the UK with one in 115 having had the virus, compared to one in 65 people having had coronavirus for both Northern Ireland and England.
However, this does not mean that infection rates are low nor that lockdown restrictions should be lifted immediately and completely.
