Election officials have found no evidence of corrupt ballots in the US 2020 presidential election.
This comes after a statement made yesterday, whereby the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said that "the November 3 election was the most secure in American history".
They added: "While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too,"
This contrasts against President Donald Trump's claims of election fraud and refusal of accepting Democrat Joe Biden's victory.
Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader, criticised the refusal of Republicans to accept Biden's victory in last week's election.
He said: "Instead of working to pull the country back together so that we can fight our common enemy COVID-19, Republicans in Congress are spreading conspiracy theories, denying reality and poisoning the well of our democracy,"
