A 22-year-old male has been stabbed and shot in Newham, east London.
Authorities were alerted to the incident around 9.30pm on Monday, although CCTV footage from a nearby convenience store shows people running away from the scene at around 9.25pm.
The man died at the scene, despite the medics efforts.
CCTV footage from a Hindu temple across the street from the crime scene and witness statements suggest that the incident was a premeditated attack.
It is too early in the ongoing investigation to suggest whether the attack was gang-related or otherwise.
Earlier that same day, three teenagers were stabbed within minutes of each in Waltham Forest, in north-east London. According to Scotland Yard, the teenagers' injuries were not life-threatening, and arrests have been made concerning the incidents.
