A worldwide outage brought down several of Microsoft services yesterday evening.
An investigation was launched as members of the public reported that they had issues logging into online platforms.
People had issues accessing Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Office services after the technology company reported an authentication issue in its cloud system at nearly 9.30 pm UTC.
By 3 am UTC, most of the online services had been recovered despite handfuls of customers in North America and the Asia-Pacific still having issues.
This morning, it still seems that some of Microsoft's services are still facing issues.
The outage is thought to be caused by a recent update, the release of which has been rolled back, Microsoft has stated.
