Travellers have ranked their worst and best UK airports in a Which? survey, in April and May earlier this year.
Over 4,000 Which? members took part in the annual survey, rating and ranking over 6,000 airport occurrences.
Each survey-taker could reference up to four experiences, and if an airport got mentioned by more than 30 people, that airport would have their results weighted in the survey.
The consumer magazine revealed that Belfast International, as the worst, with an approval score of 42%.
Known as Northern Ireland's busiest airport, passengers described it was having a poor layout and "understaffed".
The airport has responded that improvements and satisfaction amongst customers had gone up since the survey.
The best UK airport was Doncaster Sheffield. The international airport had an approval score of 86% while being called "cosy" and easy to navigate.
The South Yorkshire airport has maintained this title for the third year running.
However, despite the results of the survey, some could suggest that the findings are unreliable. For example, Luton Airport came in second-to-last place (with a 43% approval rate). Yet, the 273 mentions within the survey, which placed the Bedfordshire airport at the low ranking, may not accurately reflect the 16 million passengers Luton Airport accommodates each year.
